Bob Jackson Bob Jackson is a legendary boxing trainer and member of the boxing hall of fame. Jackson trains out of Gleason's Gym in Brooklyn, New York. He has trained successful boxers for more than fifty years. His charges have included heavyweight world title contender Oleg Maskaev, former world bantamweight and super-bantamweight champ Junior Jones, former heavyweight contender Chuck Wepner, former USBA junior welterweight champ Raul Frank and numerous other pro contenders and Golden Gloves champs.

When founding member Barry Pritchard left the FORTUNES in 1995 due to ill health Bob Jackson was his replacement. Bob Jackson stayed 10 years with the FORTUNES and added his keyboard playing and singing to the sound of the group. On stage they even played some old BADFINGER songs. Together they recorded 3 studio albums. The FORTUNES fan club released on live compilation and when Bob Jackson announced his retirement from the FORTUNES the group released a DVD from the 2005 European concerts.
In 1969, Bob Jackson had a vision: to establish a Toyota dealership in Barrie, Ontario. The debut of Jackson's Toyota hosted a staff of seven employees and currently in 2006 an exponential growth to 51 employees.

Bob Jackson Cycles was looking to sponsor a local club.After many months and finding a total lack on interest it was decided the company should start it's own.
It started as a demo session for John Wilson and Dave Powell but then Tom Evans and Bob Jackson harmonized very good with the other two musicians, so that they decided to form a band together. Dave Powell made the proposal to call the band the DODGERS. They selected two songs out of their sessions for the first single, which was released in March 1976. Another two songs were released in June as the second single of the DODGERS. Shortly after the release of the second single Dave Powell left the group.
Claude "Bob" Jackson was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Altus, Okla. During World War II, he served as a pilot in the 14th Air Force of the Army Air Corps in China. After the war, he moved to Portland, where he was a supervising engineer for OECO for more than 20 years. In 1967, he married Barbara Lindsey.
